Back in February, several patent drawings of a four-door SLS AMG emerged on the web but nothing was officially confirmed until now. According to Ola Källenius a.k.a. AMG CEO, who talked with the Dutch magazine Autovisie, there will be no such car. Same AMG CEO said that the car you see in the photos was an old concept during the development period of the SLS AMG. He was quite surprised what buzz the patent drawings made. Still, don’t be too sad as you can get your hands on the brand new SLS AMG GT, an updated version of the well-known car that is powered by a 6.3-liter V8 engine delivering 591 hp and 650 Nm at 4750 rpm. The SLS AMG GT is with 0.1 quicker than the standard version and is capable to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds, 200 km/h (124 mph) in 11.2 seconds and has a top speed pf 320 km/h or 200 mph.
