At this year’s Leipzig Auto Show, Volkswagen will unveil the new Scirocco GTS, a vehicle that will highlight style elements seen in the 70s and 80s. As you can see in the photos, the Scirocco GTS will feature black and red racing stripes, red side mirrors but also upgraded front and rear bumpers as well as side skirts. Moreover, the five-spoke wheels called “Thunder”, hide the red-painted brake calipers. If we take a better at the rear diffuser and the roof spoiler, we’ll see that these were borrowed from the power powerful Scirocco R. The interior of the vehicle is dominated by red and black, but the biggest surprise is the return of the golf ball gear knob, seen on the first Golf GTI but also in the 1982 Scirocco GTS. Under the hood, the all-new Scirocco GTS features a 2.0-liter TFSI engine delivering 210 hp.
