n2a Motors, a tutor builder out in Santa Ana, California, will demonstrate its latest creation, the Anteros, at the 2008 LA Auto Show next week. The Anteros utilizes the design cues of the 2009 Corvettes and highlights a body that it says is "reminiscent of iconic Italian designs," reminding us of the Ferrari California. The Anteros is created from lightweight carbon fiber and will be offered in either a convertible or a coupe. The convertible will be propelled by a LS3 V8 motor generating a powerful 430-hp and a maximum torque of 424 lb-ft. The coupe will be improved with Lingenfelter's 630-hp performance package. All Anteros versions highlight a carbon composite body, hand-stitched leather interior 3-piece aluminum wheels and a custom cat back exhaust. n2a Motors says that GM's 100,000 mile powertrain guarantee remains unbroken and that the Anteros can be repaired at any GM dealership. n2a is taking orders now with deliveries to begin early in 2009. Price tags begin at $149,500 for the coupe and $154,500 for the convertible. If you want the Anteros coupe built on the platform of the Z06, you'll have to shell out $176,500. Performance packages that generates an output ranging from 525-hp to 1,000-hp are offered for additional rate.
