Aptera 2e shows its interior

Aptera 2E InteriorClosing on its planned production date is the Aptera 2e, a front-drive three-wheeling electronic vehicle made by San Diego County-based electric car maker Aptera. The car‚ interior design doesn‚Äôt seem to be as adventurous as its post-modern exterior. Aptera says that the 2e interior has been tested by men and women of every age and stature. Be amazed as every dimension of the interior is 10% larger. Headroom is comparable to a Mini Cooper or Chevrolet Volt; hip area is on par with the Nissan Cube; cargo capacity is 24 cu.-ft., which is, the company boasts, more than a Honda Accord. Features include a body colored center console named ‚ÄúEva‚Äù that contains the infotainment system, heating and air controls, and other computing devices. It‚ said to be inspired by Wall-E. Under Eva are cup holders are large enough for a Big Gulp and a repositioned shift controller controls "drive states," not gears, or park, neutral, and reverse. Aptera did a great job on the seats, which feature soy-based seat foam. Base cover is made of post-consumer plastics. Other options are leatherette and leather.
