Aston Martin will launch the first production V12 Zagato at the Kuwait Concours d’ Elegance, which is set to take place on February 15-18. In its third successive year, the Kuwait Concours d’Elegance is the only event in the Middle East of its type. It hosts some of the finest automotive art from more than 19 countries. The event has been the earliest of its type in what is considered by automobile enthusiasts as "the season.”
At the core of this important and established market for Aston Martin, the 2012 Kuwait Concours d’Elegance is supported by Premier International Motors Group, which is the automaker's dealer partner in Kuwait. The production of the V12 Zagato is only limited to 150 units. The vehicle is due for first customer deliveries during the later part of this year.
The V12 Zagato carries on the partnership between Zagato and Aston Martin that began more than 50 years ago with the DB4 GT Zagato. It is founded on the highly praised V12 Vantage and showcases a wonderful hand-crafted aluminum and carbon fiber body with a bespoke interior. Additionally, the V12 Zagato combines high technology and traditional craftsmanship, boasting the automaker's most dynamic bonded aluminum platform as well as the power of its renowned 6.0-liter V12 engine producing 570 Nm (420 lb ft) of torque and 510 bhp (380 kW / 517 PS).
