Aston Martin to open its first dealership in Stockholm

2011 Aston Martin Rapide

The first Aston Martin dealership in Sweden will be inaugurated in Stockholm in the beginning of 2010. The dealership is actually a joint venture between the British company and Swedish luxury car retailer Callisma. The showroom, which is inside a recently built 1700 square meter gallery-style structure, is located just north of Stockholm, in the suburb of Danderyd. Similar to other Aston Martin dealerships, the showroom will meet the company's corporate identity standards and will benefit from the support of a dedicated service facility.

Swedish fans would be delighted to know that the entire Aston Martin range will be available. This includes the Vantage, DB9, DBS and the Rapide. Michael van der Sande, Aston Martin Chief Commercial Officer, said that the Callisma portfolio has had much experience in the luxury segment and that he is confident that the company has chosen the strongest partner in this new market.

Van der Sande said that Sweden is a significant step in the expansion of its global dealership network. Fred Mannerfelt, CEO Callisma, said that he expects there will be very high demand in Sweden since there hasn't been a new Aston Martin in its streets for quite some time.
