Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster in the works

It became quite obvious how exclusive the latest V12 Vantage would be when Aston Martin made an announcement that will build only 1,000 copies of the car. Now, a Roadster model is coming out and it certainly would be just as rare as its coupe. The roadster version will come with a soft-top, like all the Aston Martin convertible models, while the power under the hood will be the 6.0-liter V12 that powers the coupe too. The powerplant generates 380kW (517PS) and a top torque of 570Nm and is coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission. The sprint rate for the coupe is 4.2 seconds from standstill to 62mph (100km/h) and maximum speed is rated at 190mph (305km/h).
