The South American market will have its first Aston Martin dealership in April. This showroom will be located in the exclusive Vitacura neighborhood in Chile's capital city Santiago. The dealership is owned by Martin Borda, Hugo Leon and Matias Velasco of Comercial y Arrendamientos Leon Ltda. Aston Martin's full model lineup, which includes the V8 Vantage, DB9, the flagship DBS and the upcoming Rapide four-door sports car, will soon be seen there.
Aston Martin the Americas' head office in Irvine, California, USA, will oversee the operations. In a statement, Julian Jenkins, Aston Martin the Americas Vice President and General Manager, said that Chile has a rapidly expanding luxury sports car market.
He added that it's imperative that the company carefully consider the right location and association for Aston Martin in the region. The dealership is expected to deliver more than 15 of the British brand's hand-crafted high-end sports cars in its first year of operation.
