Audi A1 coming to the Frankfurt Motor Show

2011 Audi A1 1.4 TFSI
Audi is planning to reveal the new A1 at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show. Though, if you are an usual visitor of the important motor shows during the year, you have sure seen already the three-door specimen at the Metroproject Quattro in 2007 or the five-door sportback version at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. It is to be confirmed if the mass market production will start this year because the company's officials have only confirmed the pre-production models for this year. The new production version will feature, at choice, one of the VW Group's new 1.2L or 1.4L TSI petrol engines and also a 1.4L TDI. The new A1 will be produced at Audi's plant in Brussels and will be available in two versions, a 5-door Sportback and a 3-door model.
