Audi R18 e-tron quattro wins the 2012 Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race

Audi - 2012 Le Mans 24 Hours Race

This year’s Le Mans 24 Hours will be a memorable one for Audi as both of its R18 e-Tron Quattro cars were able to score a victory. After the #1 Audi e-Tron Quattro obtained the pole position at the well-known French event, same car was able to win the endurance race, followed by the sister #2 car. The #4 Audi R18 Ultra got the third place and was followed by the #3 Audi R18 Ultra. So, the four Audi R18 cars managed to finish the race on the first four positions. We have bad news for the Toyota fans as one of the TS030 Hybrid race cars driven by Anthony Davidson was involved in a serious accident with a Ferrari 458 Italia. The other TS030 Hybrid also abandoned the race. Same car “helped” the Nissan DeltaWing after it was pushed out of the track into the protection wall.
