Audi R8 Spider V10 5.2 FSI Quattro coming to the Frankfurt Motor Show

It appears that the long-awaited Audi R8 Spider will finally make its debut at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show according to our sources who work for the German manufacturer. Under the hood of the stylish convertible we will see only the new 5.2 V10 FSI engine generating 530 Nm (390.91 lb-ft) of torque and a top potency of 386 kW (525 hp), while the top speed achieved is 316 km/h. The new convertible will feature a soft top which will transform it to a coupe in just 20 seconds. We might believe that it will be the same technology used at the new Lamborghini LP560-4 Spider. We also found out that the deliveries for the Audi R8 Spider will begin in April 2010, so for those who want to buy such a beauty, September will be the right time to place an order!
