According to the latest reports from Car Magazine, it appears that the new Audi RS5 will be powered by the 4.2-liter V8 engine, same found on the RS4, developing around 450 hp (as we reported back in April). The great news is that the German manufacturer will also bring a convertible version of the RS5, using the same soft-top as all the convertible Audi vehicles, but this will happen at a later date. The coupe version will hit the showrooms in late 2009!
