Audi S4 Avant by Sportec
Swiss tuning company Sportec revealed its S4 Avant kit, not with as much fanfare as it had previously hoped for. Despite cranking the car up to 425hp from the stock 333hp, the car only had a 0.1 second gain in accelerating from 0-62mph and the same top speed. All the other performance factors improved however, so it's not that much of a loss really. It has a more aggressive look due to the body kit and 19- or 20-inch wheels. Handling should be improved as well, with a 30mm lower ride height, stiffer springs and upgraded brakes also on tap. Sportec claims it delivers significant savings in fuel consumption versus the similarly powerful Audi 4.2L V8 found in other vehicles. You can have the complete tuning package or you can opt for some bits and pieces. Of course, with Sportec, each part is customizable.
