Audi kicked off its centenary celebrations last Thursday in Ingolstadt with a ceremony led by German chancellor Angela Merkel at the Audi Forum. Making the event more special was the unveiling of the Audi A5 Sportback. German rap and hiphop band Die Fantastischen Vier is reported to be headlining the “Audi Rocks 100” party at the start of the weekend. On Saturday, visitors will marvel as they witness a parade of Audi’s historic racecars as they do laps on the Donauring circuit. Audi is sponsoring a free concert on Sunday; listen to the Czech Philharmonic Choir and the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra as they perform Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.
