Just recently the pricing for the Infiniti EX35 SUV model 2009, which will hit markets across the US beginning May 29, has been released as follows: the Luxury SUV costs $33,800 (tax, title and license fees excluded), the EX35 RWD comes with a $35,200 tag, the EX35 RWD Journey is $36,000 and the EX35 AWD Journey at $37,400. The 2009 Model Year EX35 comes with improved standard equipment on both offered trims and the modified option packs.
The based model for the EX35 currently comes with leather-appointed seating, rear view monitor, rear HVAC vents and roof rails as standard features, while the EX35 Journey comes with extra standard 6-disc CD automatic changer, steering column equipped with power tilt and telescoping features, coat hanger on the headrest of the driver's seat and dual-zone automatic temperature control.

The new 2009 Infiniti EX35 features a coupe-inspired exterior with SUV-like flexibility. Its sculpted design conveys not only speed but also elegance. It features a long hood, short front and rear overhangs as well as a rearward cabin and a coupe-like roofline that arch over the EX35's windows to the C-pillars. Moreover, the new 2009 Infiniti EX35 is has several exterior signature elements like a double-arch grille and a "dynamic arch" profile.
Further signature elements include large L-shaped headlights with available Bi-Xenon Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS), integrated fog lights and unique LED taillights. Moreover, the vehicle's exterior comes with chrome-finished dual exhaust tips and a high-mounted rear hatchback spoiler. Featured as optional are a power tilt/sliding moonroof with one-touch activation as well as roof rails and crossbars.
Moreover, as part of the hospitality lighting concept, the 2009 Infiniti EX35 comes with a standard puddle lamp that is integrated in the driver's side-view mirror. Customers could choose from eight available exterior colors -- Black Obsidian, Blue Slate, Dark Currant, Liquid Platinum, Moonlight White, Platinum Graphite, Scarlet Silver and Tidewater. Interestingly, the new EX35 features the "Scratch Shield" special "self-healing" clearcoat paint.
This paint -- designed to maintain its gloss-level over time -- repairs fine scratches like fingernail scratches under door handles. The healing process could take from one day to one week, depending on the depth of the scratch and surrounding temperature. This process is achieved by employing a special highly elastic resin that is combined with a typical clearcoat. This mixture contains higher resin density, thereby increasing the paint's flexibility and strength.
Once the healing process completes, the EX35's surface is restored close to its original state. Just like its exterior, the EX35 features an elegant yet inspiring interior. The driver-focused "wave-inspired" cabin layout features an Infiniti signature "double-wave" instrument panel, easy-to-read high-contrast gauges with white-and-violet illumination and hospitality lighting with a pin LED light mounted over the center console and Infiniti-signature analog clock.
This double-wave instrument panel is home to a seven-inch color display with Infiniti controller for the trip computer. This display also shows more vehicle information like Infiniti Hard Disk-based Navigation System, which comes with a 9.3GB Music Box hard drive for storing and playing music. Mark Igo, vice president and general manager of Infiniti Division, Nissan North America, Inc. described the new Infiniti EX35 as having a breathtaking design, bringing a "breath of fresh air" in the segment.
He remarked that the new vehicle stands out in its class not just because of its sculpted elegance, exhilarating performance and appealing interior, but also because it features exclusive technology like the Around View Monitor and Lane Departure Prevention systems. He also described the EX35 as a fusion between a luxury coupe and a high-utility SUV. He added that the vehicle has the right size to exude outstanding maneuverability around town while being versatile enough to handle everyday tasks.
