Nissan gets an early start on the New Year with the public announcement of pricing of its brand new 2009 Nissan 370Z Coupe and a modified marketing tagline.
Today the latest Z will be available for sale nationwide at Nissan outlets with a MSRP beginning at $29,930 for the 2009 Nissan 370Z Coupe that comes with a 6-speed manual transmission and $31,230 with the fresh 7-speed automatic transmission.
The latest Z is also available in a 370Z Coupe Touring version, which has a price tag of $34,460 with the 6-speed manual transmission and $35,760 for the 7-speed automatic transmission.
Two alternative packages are available, the Sport Package, with a sticker price of just $3,000, consisting of 19-inch RAYS forged rims and Bridgestone Potenza rubber, sleek front and rear spoiler, bigger Nissan Sport Brakes, SynchroRev Match (only for the 6-speed manual) and Viscous Limited Slip Differential; and the Navigation Package, tagged at $1,850, with Hard Drive-based Nissan Navigation System, 9.3GB Music Box Hard Drive and Interface System for iPod connectivity.
As the most potent Z ever manufactured, the latest 370Z hits the bull's eye in the sports car "sweet spot" of performance, design and value, with reduced weight, more potency and improved handling, quality and style.
Coming with a typical 332-horsepower 3.7-liter V6, a selection of two hi-tech transmissions and a full range of driver-centered interior highlights, the latest 370Z is intended to be one of the top performance values on the planet.
It was announced by Nissan also today the coming out of a modified marketing tagline: SHIFT_the way you move. Formerly, SHIFT_ was employed with multiple complement terms, which changed by product or media application. The step toward a one set phrase "the way you move" mirrors alignment of the direction Nissan is making to meet varying customer needs and wants.
