Details of the Phantom and Phantom Extended Wheelbase for the 2009 model year have been released by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Following the sales success of the previous year Rolls-Royce will introduce several model year improvements in stages to strengthen its status as the top product of the super luxury class.
The front face of the supercar received a freshly updated front bumper that comes with a shallower grill and is stainless steel finished. Other standard features on the exterior consist of LED door handle lighting and 21-inch cast aluminum wheel.
The wheel comes with two optional forged alloys and offered in two finishes: painted or part polished. In the interior, an RCA component input will be available for rear passengers which is equipped with auxiliary audio and visual link to the 12-inch screen fixed within the picnic tables.
More highlights include new cappings for front and rear door with built-in grab handles and new two-directional double reading lights mounted on the C-pillar for extra lighting.
Rear passengers will enjoy climate control, volume control and electric window switches which have been relocated, housed in wood veener panel in the door. These marvelous vehicles will see production this coming spring at Goodwood.
