Hans-Jurgen Abt exclaims: "If you wish to experience value for money in the compact class, you won't be able to ignore the new Golf VI." The managing director of the planet's largest customizer of vehicles in the VW Group has been allured by the latest variant of the Wolfsburg "evergreen." "The new Golf is an outstanding basis for our designers and technicians - and they've already succeeded in creating five awe-inspiring predecessor series."
The Kempten Company developed an athletic pack for the ABT Golf VI which is ideally targeted to ABT's improvement in performance and vehicle parts.
Hans-Jurgen Abt claims that their "Golf shows that driving fun and ecological points of view do not exclude each other." He also underscored the 1.4 TSI, which is currently offered in two stages of expansion: the typical 122 hp /90 kW is converted into 160 hp /118 kW, and the more potent variant generated a significant 200 hp /147 kW for the street in place of the meager 160 hp /118 kW.
The "little" direct injection engine thus generates nearly as much as the next big sized series aggregate, the 2.0 TSI, but utilizes lesser fuel. The key word here is "downsizing", explained Hans-Jurgen Abt.
However, the Allgau company is also making available a potent pack for the 2.0 FSI: 210 hp /154 kW which will then become 240 hp /176 kW for the exceptionally power-hungry enthusiasts.
The 2.0 TDI is the economical and sensible option for typical drivers, which ABT Sportsline has provided a potent 170 hp/125 kW in contrast to the standard 140 hp/103 kW. So that the potency is to be applied perfectly, it is recommended to utilize ABT springs or the more athletic ABT threaded suspension.
High performance deceleration is provided by ABT braking systems and ABT sports braking systems. Besides having to drive fast, a genuine ABT must also appear fast. The designers of the Golf VI designed a body package that offers the popular model an active and also a stylish look. The front grill and apron make the vehicle appear more contemporary, as the sidebars also make the ground appear nearer than it actually is.
At the rear, the spoiler and apron add-on, in which the slanted 4-pipe exhaust is fixed, become the core elements. The appearance is completed by either an 18 or 19-inch AR and BR rims.
Certainly, the well-designed wheels are also offered in conjunction with the fitting sport rubber. One sure thing: with the fresh ABT parts, the Golf VI moves tastefully into the limelight. Since this is the sixth time that the ABT's have created a Volkswagen for eccentrics, the newcomer is surely a real hit.
