2011 Bmw 535i / 550i prices revealed

Bmw announced today the prices for its all-new 2011 Bmw 535i and 550i sedans. The new 2011 Bmw 535i sedan pricing starts at $50,475 while the V8-powered 550i comes with a price tag of $60,575, which includes $875 Destination & Handling.

According to Bmw the base-prices for both models are lower than the 2010 models: $1,650 for the 535i and $900 for the 550i. 

Like any other Bmw vehicle, the new 2011 Bmw 5-Series comes is offered with the Bmw Ultimate Service, $0 maintenance for the first 4 years or 50,000 miles.

Both models will be available with a choice of 6-speed manual transmission, BMW's new 8-speed automatic transmission, or new "Sport Automatic" 8-speed.

Regarding the power of the engines, the 550i models carries 400 hp while the smaller 535i model with its new inline-6 engine carries 300 hp.

EfficientDynamics technologies are featured appropriate combinations on each model and includes Brake Energy Regeneration, Electric Power Steering, a gearshift point indicator, active cooling air flaps, and on-demand operation of engine accessory drives.

Other features include an all-new Parking Assistant, Top View cameras, and Frontal Collision Warning with application of the brakes when ordered with Active Cruise Control plus Stop & Go,Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, a Head-Up Display, BMW Night Vision with Pedestrian Detection.

The all-new 2011 Bmw 5-Series will make its North American debut at the New York International Auto Show and will arrive at US BMW Centers on June 19, 2010.
