2011 Chevrolet Cruze CS Package: official details, photos and specs

Consumers in the UK can now choose from a variety of models from the extended Cruze range, according to Chevrolet. Reportedly, a new styling kit dubbed CS had just been added, offering race inspired looks and performance to the Cruze.

The CS package is offered with 18-inch white multi-spoke alloy wheels, lowered suspension, a boot spoiler, specific graphics and matching tailored carpet mats.

These specifications that are built on the existing standard features that include follow-me-home lighting, remote central locking, a CD-radio system with auxiliary input, premium interior plastics, electric front windows, six airbags, and ESC.

Buyers of the Chevrolet Cruze can choose from four engine varieties, including two petrol and two diesel, with an automatic transmission available for the petrol versions.

In the UK, three trim levels will be offered: S, LS and LT. The S level is priced from 11,545 pounds. The 12,595-pound LS offers air conditioning and reverse parking sensors.

The LT is priced from 13,595 pounds, and this includes cruise control, climate control, 17 inch alloy wheels and integrated GPS. The lowest version of the Cruze -- the 1.6 S -- develops 113hp, the same unit that is found on the LS as well.

The LT, on the other hand, comes with either a 1.8l or a 2.0l diesel powerplant. The CS will be offered starting mid-July for all trim and engine variants of the Cruze and it will cost 1,595 pounds more, including VAT and full fitment by Chevrolet retailers.
