In order to make its crossover even safer, Infiniti announced today that the EX will now be available with a new Blind Spot Warning (BSW) system for 2011. This means that the driver will be alerted with both audible and visual signals when an adjacent vehicle in the blind spot area will block its way.
Furthermore, the Blind Spot Warning system will join other innovative technologies such as Intelligent Cruise Control, Intelligent Brake Assist, Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure Prevention. This means that the 2011 Infiniti EX will feature an Infiniti’s anti-collision Dynamic Safety Shield more complete than ever.
Moreover, Infiniti announced that all the safety elements including Lane Departure Prevention which made its European SUV debut in the EX30d in summer 2010, will now be offered as standard on the GT Premium versions of both V6 petrol and V6 diesel models.
Many of the features of the Dynamic Safety Shield are unavailable in even latest-generation SUV rivals. Dynamic Safety Shield provides a “bubble” of protection all around the vehicle and will inform the driver about potential hazards.
Regarding the pricing, the 2011 Infiniti EX30d will carry a base price of £36,741 in the UK, while the EX30dGT will be priced from £38,099.
The top of the line EC30d GT Premium will be priced from £42,547. The gasoline powered EX37 will be priced from £37,047, this the top of the line EX36 GT Premium will be priced from £42,853.
