2011 Infiniti FX is cheaper than the 2010 model year

Infiniti announced today that the 2011 FX performance luxury SUV will be less expensive for the 2011 model year. Pricing has been reduced from 2010 levels by $2,600 USD on FX50 and $1,250 USD on FX35 models. The 2011 FX will be offered in three models: FX50 AWD with 5.0-liter V8, FX35 AWD with 3.5-liter V6 and FX35 RWD with 3.5-liter V6.

The 5.0-liter 32-valve DOHC V8 engine fitted with VVEL (Variable Valve Event & Lift) delivers 390 hp, but if you want e better fuel consumption you should choose the 303 hp 3.5-liter 24-valve DOHC V6 engine.

Both engines are mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission, while the Intelligent All-Wheel Drive comes as standard on the FX50.

Other goodies available for the 2011 model year include the addition of the Navigation Package content to the Premium Package on FX35 (which is standard on the FX50) as well as a new Deluxe Touring Package for the FX50. The Deluxe Touring Package consists of Maple interior accents, 21-inch wheels and tires and aluminum pedal accents.

The 2011 FX50 comes as standard with black lacquer interior trim, while Malbec Black has been added to FX’s exterior color palette. Furthermore, the car is available with an array of advanced technology systems such as Distance Control Assist (DCA), Lane Departure Warning LDW)/Lane Departure Prevention (LDP) system, Intelligent Brake Assist (IBA) with Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Continuous Damping Control (CDC), and Rear Active Steer.

Infiniti Intelligent Key to Intelligent Cruise Control (Full Speed Range) and Around View Monitor system are also available. Pricing starts at $41,600 for the 2011 Infiniti FX35 RWD. The all-wheel drive version of the FX35 is priced at $43,050 while the top of the line 2011 Infiniti FX50 AWD is priced at $56,400.
