2011 Kia Soul Searcher introduced on the market

Kia’s new Soul Searcher will be offered in Britain, starting January 4. The Soul Searcher, the latest member to be added to the Originals line, has a starting price of £16,965 OTR ($26,600) for the manual and £18,025 for the automatic (including VAT at the new 20% rate). The Searcher joins the Burner, Shaker, Tempest and Echo.

Offered in bold colors, the Searcher is meant for those who want their cars to have their own personality. The limited edition model will be available in Kia dealerships throughout the UK.

The Soul Searcher features light green metallic paintwork, a high quality cream and brown full leather interior, chrome front grille, chrome door handles, roof rails, black bezel headlights, front and rear mud flaps as well as 18-inch silver alloy wheels.

The model offers the following as standard: handy reversing sensors, front fog lights, electric folding door mirrors and privacy glass.

The car features bespoke brown and cream full leather upholstery and is offset by a cream and black dashboard. Passengers are sure to be comfortable whatever the weather is as the car is equipped with dual auto air conditioning and heated front seats.

And for entertainment, the car has an upgraded 8 speaker sound system (with subwoofer and external amplifier), Bluetooth and iPod connectivity.

The car is powered by a 1.6-litre CRDi diesel engine that is partnered to either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic box. For safety, the car is equipped with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Traction Control (TC).
