2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport priced from $18,495

Article by Christian Andrei, on September 14, 2010

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc., has revealed that it has priced its U.S. offering for the 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. According to Mitsubishi, the Outlander Sport will have an $18,495 Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price excluding destination.

This compact crossover, with a highway rating of 31-mpg, is the latest addition to the brand’s crossover vehicles portfolio and comes with not just better capability but also premium features and classy design. Furthermore, aside from leading its class in terms of fuel efficiency, it also has better aerodynamics and is equipped with the All-Wheel Control system.

All these mean that Mitsubishi’s latest model has more to offer in the crossover utility vehicle market. The introductory price is somewhat of a bargain considering that it has the standard amenities and features found on the brand’s ES model. There is for example the steering wheel and the shift knob wrapped in leather.

There is also the fact that it has the tilt and telescopic steering and even an electric power steering. Some of the safety amenities include the hill start assist plus the 7-airbag safety system. Then there is the cruise control with controls mounted on the steering wheel. The audio controls are placed the same way.

Additional features include the standard FUSE Hands-free Link System that comes with a USB port, enabling the driver to make phone calls hands-free or turn on music from the iPod through voice-commands. In addition, it features heated outside mirrors.

These are but a few of the many nifty features available to consumers at no extra cost. Mitsubishi is offering four drive train combinations for the Outlander Sport. The premium package includes a 40GB HDD navigation system that can access real time traffic.

It even has a backup camera and music server. For those who are interested to learn more about the 2011 Outlander Sport, additional information is available and can be accessed on the website www.outlandersport.com. MNMA is in-charge of the brand’s operations in the U.S.

These include research, development, finance, manufacturing, sales, and marketing. Its products include convertibles, coupes, light trucks, sedans, and sport utility cars that are sold in a network of around 400 dealers.

Press Release

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc., (MMNA) is pleased to announce the U.S. pricing for the company’s all-new 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport compact crossover; this stylish new 31-mpg (hwy) crossover vehicle will have a starting Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of only $18,495 excluding destination.
