Article by Christian A., on November 28, 2011

A Kahn Design’s latest work involving a military-style amphibious vehicle is ready for service. When troops go into combat using the metallic military grey vehicle that Afzal Kahn built, they’re sure to appear very formidable. The range rover’s lines continue to be flawless with the use of the Kahn wide arch pace kit with daylight LED lighting in front arch extensions.

The vehicle features very advanced technologies, including the RS grille in carbon fibre finish with metallic military grey inner grille insert and black mesh, front lip extension spoiler in metallic military grey and carbon fibre finish, orange calipers, Kahn black rubber steps with grey edge, Kahn badging, Illuminated Kahn side sill plates and aluminum drilled pedals.

Also available is a bullet-proof glass that’s a lot lighter than the type of glass used to protect world statesmen. This guarantees maximum protection. The interior comes with the ‘bespoke touch’. This vehicle uses an RS leather interior in black with grey insert panels, quilted glove box, door tops and instrumental binnacle, blue and yellow speedo and rev counter, blue time clock with black Swarovski bezel, and Kahn billet steering wheel that’s finished with grey top and bottom sections. It is equipped with a set of Kahn wheels that sit perfectly and demonstrate the essence of the model’s identity.

The Kahn RS/R wheels were built using state-of-the art manufacturing and materials technology and are available in 9.5 x 22 and 10.5 x 22. The RS-R wheels are elegant and innovative, with their simple neat lines, soft organic surfaces on the edge of the spoke, and a practical mechanical centre. The A. Kahn Design is targeted at the individual who only wants perfection and who doesn’t care for uniformity. A. Kahn Design is committed to creating luxury bespoke vehicles that break the monotony of mass-built vehicles. This particular vehicle is priced at £73,875.

The newest installment of the Land Rover Range Rover Sport features a muscular yet very stylish exterior marked up front by a new two-bar grille flanked by signature LED headlamps. These frontal elements are complemented by front bumpers and fenders that lend the Land Rover Range Rover Sport a more aerodynamic stance. Its rear end, meanwhile, features a revised bumper design and new light clusters. O

n the other hand, the redesigned interior of the new Land Rover Range Rover Sport now employs higher quality materials and soft-touch finishes. According to Phil Popham, the Land Rover Range Rover Sport boasts of passionate customers clamoring for the performance and refinement of a sports tourer and the off-road capability of a Land Rover.

Now that the Land Rover Range Rover Sport boasts of a wider range of capabilities, they expect more people to become passionate over this vehicle. The 2010 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is now powered by any of the two new dynamic engines: a 5.0-liter LR-V8 naturally aspirated engine that delivers 375bhp, and a more powerful 5.0-liter LR-V8 supercharged engine that provides 510bhp.

Jaguar Land Rover’s powertrain team designed these all-new LR-V8 engines, employing an array of state-of-the-art technologies, with strong focus on smooth, responsive yet refined performance, sans any compromise in fuel efficiency. Both LR-V8 engines comply with ULEV2 emissions standards. Product Development Director Phil Hodgkinson, meanwhile, remarked that both LR-V8 engines are tailored to the sporting nature of the new Land Rover Range Rover Sport. Aside from providing levels of refinement typical of Range Rovers, these new engines are able to deliver generous low-end torque as well as a spirited performance.
