To commemorate Monaco's yachting tradition, Dartz Prombron' and Gray Design are set to launch the world’s first armored Sportback – the 2012 Dartz Prombron' Nagel – which is designed to pull yachts. The Dartz Prombron' Nagel will be released in 2012, which marks several anniversaries for the RussoBalt (RussoBaltique) car brand that was later revived as the bold Dartz Prombron'.
On the last day of 1911 in the cold winter, Andrey Nagel and Vadim Mikhailoff started off to reach the Monte Carlo Rally, going farther than any team -- 3260 km.
The two were behind the wheel of the C24/55 Monaco RussoBalt sportscar in this long-distance race. This sports car was specially named for the Monte Carlo Rally after the French name RussoBaltique. The team won 9 awards from HSH Monaco Prince Louis III.
When they returned, the Russian Tzar Nikolaus II awarded them the Order of St. Anna. RussoBalt went on to build sports and armored cars, royal lancelets and airplanes.
One of the most famous RussoBalt engineer was the helicopter inventor, Sikorsky. This car is designed by Eduard Gray of Gray Design and was built on the Dartz Prombron' platform using the world’s safest KAPSULA technology.
The Dartz Prombron' Nagel was built to mark the anniversary of its success as well as to honor Monaco’s yachting history. The car was designed by Gray Design’s Eduard Gray and based on the Dartz Prombron' platform integrated with KAPSULA technology, the safest of its kind in the world, to rid passengers of all worries.
Dartz sees to it that the armor in all its cars is heavy enough to guarantee a smooth ride even when towing yachts weighing up to 5 tons and measuring up to 15 meters long. However, he clarified that the sporting spirit emanates from its specially made 2000 hp engine.
It also has an amazing projected speed of 250 km/h, letting yacht owners arrive first for any event, on either the race track or seaside. The Dartz Prombron' Nagel is actually the first armored Sportback in the world designed particularly for those who have yachts.
