The new 2012 Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon limited-edition model is exclusively designed for FIAT Brand’s partnership with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). This model has several exclusive design elements to emphasize the silhouette of the Cinquecento. The Pink Ribbon limited-edition is based on the greatly stylized 2012 Fiat 500 Lounge model and comes in Argento (silver) and Bianco (white) exterior paint colors.
It comes with a signature dark pink bodyside stripe with a “500” logo and it is accented by a “ribbon” in light pink.
The Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon’s interior has unique pink accents that contrast with the Nero (black) interior. These add to the stylish interior of the 500 Lounge model. The limited-edition model is highlighted by Nero leather front and rear seats with pink accent stitching on the perimeter. It has a signature “500” logo that’s embroidered on the front seatbacks while a pink ribbon is embroidered on the floor mats.
The pink accents are hand-stitched through the Nero leather steering wheel and offer more contrast in front of the body-color instrument panel bezel. The vehicle also comes with a pair of exclusively designed Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon key fobs to match the specially appointed Cinquecento.
With these, customers get a personal reminder of the FIAT Brand and BCRF’s partnership. Just 250 Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon limited-edition models will be offered at FIAT Studios nationwide starting in October. The 2012 Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon has a MSRP of $22,500 (including a destination charge of $500). Go to www.fiatusa.com/500PinkRibbon for additional details.
Myra J. Biblowit, President of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, revealed that they are relentless in looking for ways to expand breast cancer awareness beyond simply commemorating Breast Cancer Awareness month. President Biblowit added that by partnering with FIAT, it gives breast cancer supporters the chance to pursue awareness on this issue year round.
She continued by saying that they appreciate FIAT’s collaboration in this advocacy as the company’s contribution are projected to aid innovative research and thus continue to fight against this problem around the world. Laura Soave, FIAT North America Head, meanwhile said that they are honored to be considered as a partner by the Foundation as it fights an issue that is significant not only to the company but customers as well.
With the Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon edition, the company is offering its customers a chic and distinct way of showing their support, she added. This will not only help in research about this condition but hopefully drive change, concluded Soave. Even today with a new generation of drivers, the 2012 Fiat 500 continues to be relevant.
Proof of this is the use of advanced technology, excellent fuel efficiency, and timeless functionality, all wrapped up inside a fascinating Italian styling. These are the same qualities that made the first version the icon that it is. The Fiat 500, along with the Fiat 500 Cabrio, will be leading the reintroduction of the brand to the North American market. All versions of the 2012 Fiat 500 will have the FIAT FORWARD CARE.
This is a standard offer in all Fiat models which include a 50,000-mile/4-year bumper-to-bumper warranty and unlimited roadside assistance for up to 4 years. It even has the 36,000 mile/3-year maintenance program that comes with wear and tear items. In addition to the qualities already mentioned, the 2012 Fiat 500 has the expected safety features and allows seating for up to four passengers.
Powering it is the fuel efficient MultiAir 1.4-liter engine with the eco:Drive Application. On the inside there is the TomTom Navigation with the Handsfree BLUE&ME Communication. Safety features include the seven air bags equipped as standard. Already impressive, this package is improved even further with refinement and quality geared for the U.S. market like the new automatic 6-speed transmission. Clearly the Fiat 500 delivers a one-of-a-kind ownership and driving experience.
