You can now go to your nearest Nissan Commercial Vehicle dealership to get the 2012 Nissan NV Passenger Van, which has a starting price of $32,685 (including shipping costs). Nissan North America, Inc. said that the all-new full-size NV van is the latest model to enter the Nissan NV full-size commercial van series.

The Nissan NV Passenger Van has four rows and can fit 12 passengers, making it ideal for both personal and fleet use. This van offers driver and passenger comfort and safety as well as flexibility, with 324 seating configurations and segment-exclusive supplemental side curtain air bags for all of its rows. The Nissan NV Passenger is offered in three grades and is available with 4.0-liter V6 or 5.6-liter V8 engines.

It was only a year ago that the brand entered the commercial vehicle business in North America with the Nissan NV full-size commercial van series but it is now expanding the lineup with the new NV3500 HD Passenger Van. The 4-row/12-passenger Nissan NV3500 HD offers the most flexible seating configurations in the full-size passenger van segment.

It also comes with curtain supplemental air bags for all four rows of passengers as standard. The headrests and integrated seat belts for all rear seating positions are also standard equipment. The 2012 Nissan NV3500 HD Passenger Van is available with any of two engines; either a 261hp DOHC 24-valve 4.0-liter V6 with 281 lb-ft of torque or a 317hp DOHC 32-valve V8 with 385 lb-ft of torque.

These two engines use Nissan’s Continuous Valve Timing Control (C-VTC) for better efficiency and they are partnered with a refined, heavy-duty 5-speed automatic transmission. The Nissan NV3500 HD Passenger Van is based on a heavy-duty, fully boxed ladder frame, with independent double wishbone front suspension with twin-tube coil-over shocks, solid rear axle with rigid leaf springs, heavy-duty disc brakes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and engine-speed-sensitive power steering.

A 28-gallon fuel tank is also offered as standard. Furthermore, the Nissan NV3500 can be maneuvered easily (just like an SUV). It also offers easy access for serviceability because of its pickup truck-like front engine/full hood design.
