Images of the facelifted version of the Renault Koleos have been leaked after it was unintentionally unveiled in India. The most significant aesthetic change can be seen in the front as revisions were made on the lights, bumper and grille. It also appears that the interior trim has been enhanced. The lights were softened and made to look similar to the Latitude sedan.
In particular, the cosmetic changes include a set of new headlights, a bigger single frame grille with chrome accents, and a redesigned bumper, fenders and hood.
These mirrors have built-in LED lights and Renault has also freshened up its alloy wheels. Another highlight is the availability of a new color: Cayenne Orange.
Renault improved its interior by increasing modularity and comfort and fitting in multiple technologies such as hands-free entry and ignition, electronic parking brake, automatic headlights and screen wiper.
The Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control systems have also been installed on the 4x4 versions Koleos.
The Koleos is offered with a lineup of diesels with outputs that range from 150 hp or 175 hp for the diesel engines. The sole petrol engine available has an output of 170 hp.
Renault made improvements to the gearbox, reducing its emissions. The dCi 150 engine currently has emissions rating of 148g/km while the dCi 175 unit offers 166g/km.
