The Toyota Camry new generation may now be booked via the official dealer network FDI "Toyota-Ukraine.” The new Camry boasts of an exterior design that’s more expressive and elegant. Its interior is roomy and is made more comfortable. It has been fitted with excellent noise insulation and a set of multimedia equipment that’s unique to the model.

The Camry will be powered by a new 2.5-liter gasoline four-cylinder engine and an advanced 3.5-liter six-cylinder gasoline V-twin engine, which is offered in five versions. The 7th generation business-class sedan Toyota Camry can now be yours for US$33,050.

Since the release of the sedan Camry in 1982, it has received multiple awards. This flagship sedan is the top-seller in the segment composed of business-class sedans. So far, more than 14 million vehicles of this model have been sold around the globe.

It is ranked No. 2 of all cars sold, coming in second to the Toyota Corolla. The Camry has gotten plenty of recognition in the sedan segment due to its high levels of quality, performance, reliability, and comfort.

The exterior and interior of the new Camry that will be available in Ukraine will be different from the one offered in the U.S. The design of the Camry offers the highest comfort levels, resistance on the road, and vibration control. It also offers agility and responsive steering.

The new 2.5-liter gasoline engine and an advanced 3.5-liter six-cylinder V-twin engine are coupled with a 6-speed automatic transmission that offer a boost in performance while at the same time, it has higher fuel economy.

The wheelbase was retained but the space for a back row was optimized, primarily in the legs and over the head of passengers. In addition, the driver's seat offers optimal ergonomic, gear change and visibility. The high quality materials and finishes in this cabin offer comfort that is expected of a business-class sedan.

Even if the 2012 Camry has almost similar proportions on its exterior as that of the previous model, its interior offers more space and is even more inviting. This is all due to a number of changes done on the trim of the headliner, pillar, and lean door, the redesign of the dashboard and the seats, and how the locations of the seats have been tweaked. As such, it gave the interior some more space and better perception of space in addition to improving the outward visibility. Improvements were also apparent on its forward visibility and the position of the driver with the seat’s repositioning.

Even the steering wheel was repositioned with the tilt upped by 33% to deliver better comfort. While the hip point of the rear seat is now placed rearward, the front seat and the pedal for the accelerator were both moved forward. This increased the couple distance by as much as 0.6 inch and when combined with the redesigned front seatbacks, the knee room in the back increases by 1.8 inches.

Redesigned as well were the center console and the front edge of the cushion in the back. This helps add 2 inches to the legroom of the rear middle seat. Regardless of the grade level, the 2012 Camry’s rear seatback will come with the ability for a 60/40 split fold and thus enhances the capacity of the cargo area. Lowering the seats is easy as it can be done remotely at its trunk area. Fitted as standard as well are the rear-seat side airbags plus an armrest that has cup holders to ensure convenience and comfort. Exterior-wise, the 2012 Camry follows a contemporary yet stylish form. Compared to the models before it, the 2012 Camry is lower and wider. In general, the exterior is designed to express what is known as an architectural statement. This is made possible by giving it a more expressive look through the use of precise and sharp lines with the cross-section of the door being more curved. Even the rocker panel molding is more defined, with the LE and the XLE version having this in chrome accents. Helping highlight the new design is the introduction of four new colors, two of which are brand new for the brand in the U.S.

The first is called Clearwater Blue and makes use of a silver metallic pigment to give it a water-like and glossy finish. The second, known as Attitude Black Metallic, mixes in a bright blue pigment to give a unique take on what otherwise would be the usual jet black. Going to the front, its headlights have a more vibrant form especially with the main-beam unit being more curved and merged to the bumper cover.

Fog lights are available as an option but come as standard equipment on the SE and XLE grade. On the rear portion, the lamp clusters manage to cover the body side with their top portions going well to the trunk panel. While the LE and XLE variants offer an extra chrome trim for the exterior, the SE grade on the other hand will have its very own design for the lower body with the upper grille section having that exclusive fine mesh. Aside from the headlamp bezel having a black sport trim, the SE will also have a three-part lower grille section that will house the fog lamps. The SE grade will also have rocker panel moldings that are more pronounced and integrated to the underbody spoilers of both the front and the rear which helps in highlighting its width. A spoiler has been integrated to its trunk lid.
