The interest for the new V12-engined Vanquish super grand tourer from Aston Martin was so great that its global website, astonmartin.com, got its three highest traffic days ever on June 20-22. The site received more than double the daily average number of views over the past week. The traffic for Friday rose after several automotive news websites around the world, such as TopGear in the UK, linked to the new Vanquish configurator: astonmartin.com/cars/vanquish/configure.
Actually, the TopGear story on the Vanquish was its most popular of the month in terms of views. The global interest is also impressive. The visitors from the U.S. increased in number by 102%. UK visitors grew by 162% while visits from Germany increased by 216%. The visits to the site from China rose 81%. The Vanquish launch film at youtube.com/watch?v=jEXQA-eMolQ has reached more than 201,000 views since it was released on June 20.
