A 60th Anniversary Package is offered with all 2013 Corvette models, including the 427 Convertible. It comes with an Arctic White exterior with a Blue Diamond interior that’s covered with leather and comes with suede accents. A blue top is used on convertible models. In addition, it gets a ZR1-style rear spoiler, some special badging, gray-painted brake calipers and the “60th” logo is placed on the wheel center caps, steering wheel and seat headrests.
Consumers may get a graphics package as an option. It features full-length racing stripes in Pearl Silver Blue as well as a tonal stripe stitched into the convertible top to extend the graphic theme even over the roof.

In addition, there are anniversary logos on the sill plates and in the instrument panel gauge cluster. Chris Perry, vice president, Global Marketing and Strategy for Chevrolet, said that what makes the 2013 model year even more significant for Corvette is that it’s the last year for the existing ‘C6’ generation.
He explained that the automaker wanted to celebrate its recent achievements by offering the “Corvette convertible and a 427 cubic-inch engine” combination back. Jan. 21 is the date of the public debut of the 60th Anniversary Package and 427 Convertible at the Barrett Jackson collector car auction in Scottsdale, Ariz. It will be arriving at U.S. Chevrolet dealers early this summer.
Looking at the interior of the Corvette Convertible, one can immediately feel the presence of the dual-cockpit heritage. The excellent craftsmanship with the use of high-quality materials plus the functionality ensures that not only is premium quality offered but it can even improve performance driving. While both the doors and the instrument panel have been wrapped in foam-in-place cast-skin trim, it has the appearance of a padded panel wrapped in leather. Indeed, the interior is inviting just as it is warm and has a life that is twice what standard trim materials offer.
Fitted as standard is the OnStar system with all of its functions, though an onboard navigation system that allows for voice recognition will be offered. Equipped as well is the 6.5-inch (165 mm) color display with touch screen capability and a DVD-based system where one disk has map data for all of the 48 states plus a majority of Canada.
Not surprisingly, an audio input jack is fitted as standard including the CD player and AM/FM/XM radio. For those who want to listen to music while on a drive, a Bose premium audio system is offered as option. Included with the audio system is the in-dash 6-disc changer with controls mounted on the steering wheel, the same set-up features in the 2007 version.
The exterior of the Corvette Convertible comes with its own strong visual personality given how the grille combines with the exposed headlamps and the fender forms. Meanwhile the rear section has a lean design with the center-exit exhaust and the sports round tail lamps. Delivering excellent lighting performance are the Xenon high-intensity fixed discharge headlamps.
With the rear deck being made narrow, this helps with enhance performance especially at high speeds. In terms of aerodynamics, it is the most aerodynamic yet its coefficient of drag is 0.286.
Corvette Convertible has a soft top that is power operated and comes with a 3LT package. Standard however is the manual top which remains easy to control. No matter what configuration the customer chooses, both utilize a 5-layer fabric that hides the underlying structure resulting in an excellent top-up appearance. This also guarantees that the remarkable aerodynamics is maintained while lowering the road noise.
