2013 Kia Picanto now available in Fuchsia Blush color

Article by Christian A., on January 27, 2013

For only £445 more, you can get a Kia Picanto in the ‘Fuchsia Blush’ color. The pink paint option is available on the 5-door model on grades ‘2’ and ‘3’. But for the less adventurous, Kia is offering the new Picanto ‘White’ on the three-door model. This technologically advanced addition to the Picanto three-door lineup is the replacement for the range-topping ‘Halo’ and ‘Equinox’ models.

The new top-spec ‘White’ rides on a set of five-spoke 15” alloy wheels and has an Engine Start/Stop with Smart Entry System. It also gets Bluetooth and automatic air conditioning. Kia offers reversing sensors as standard. An exterior feature – the black tiger-nose grille – features an unusual red surround.

Meanwhile, the interior gets leather trim steering wheel and steering wheel mounted controls. It also features a ‘Hollywood style’ vanity mirror with a three-stage illumination feature sequence and ambient LED lighting. The Picanto ‘White’ is priced from only £11,745 for the 1.25 84bhp 5-speed manual ISG model. Meanwhile, the 1.25 84bhp 4-speed automatic has a starting price of £12,345. These two models have a Thatcham insurance rating of 11.

The newest member to join the Kia family is the Kia Picanto. Kia has made major strides in developing the most current version of its smallest model.

It has been modified to be mature and handsome from being ‘cute’ and ‘feminine’. Its head-turner design has fascinating, balanced proportions and dynamic design language. The muscular wheel arches and wide set alloy wheels are put into emphasis to achieve the appearance and great appeal of stability and strength.

Visually at the front, Kia Picanto also expresses the same established vigor and refinement of the Venga and the Sportage. Similarly, they all have the ‘tiger nose’ grille signature. Intricately designed and sophisticated, the Picanto’s LED daylight running lights are heightened.

From the bold front end is a strongly-renovated and dynamic body support that defines the Kia Picanto’s strength and maturity. This specifies the vehicle with a true ‘premium presence” on the road. The dynamic tension to the car’s profile is brought by the Picanto’s strong body feature line along the flank and is well incorporated in the exterior door handles. These detailed features of the new Picanto make it more unique and better than its competitors.

From the rear, modernity on the unique rear lamp graphic framed-large rear window is emphasized on the Kia Picanto’s design theme. This was mainly supported by a durable bumper.
