After the concept version received some positive feedback from the public, Nissan revealed today the production version of the Juke Nismo. As we said in this article, the car will hit the dealerships by the end of the year or in early 2013 in some regions, Just like the concept, the Nissan Nismo Juke features a new aerodynamic kit in order to make it more efficient and dynamic.
As a result, we find lower and rear bumpers, enlarged fenders, new side skirts, a new front grill and a tailgate spoiler, which controls the airflow. These aerodynamic enhancements reduce front and rear lift without increasing drag.
New 18-inch wheels wrapped in wider tyres were also added in order to improve the drip and on-road presence. Under the hood, we find a tuned 1.6-liter direct injection turbocharged petrol engine inspired by the one seen on the direct injection turbocharged petrol engine.
Furthermore, the Nismo Juke features stiffened suspension settings and new steering modifications for sportier direct handling and improved traction control.
The sporty theme is continued at the interior where we can find new steering wheel, pedals, gauges, gear knob and door trims, The vehicle features special suede-trimmed Nismo sports seats with red stitching added for increased holding while cornering.
The Nissan Nismo Juke will be built at Nissan Motor Manufacturing UK in Sunderland and as we said, European sales are due to start early January 2013. The first pubic debut of the Nissan Juke Nismo will take place on the Nissan stand at Le Mans from 13th to 17th June.
