At the 2013 Seoul Motor Show, Hyundai will bring the HND-9 Concept, its latest luxury sports coupe that previews the new Genesis Coupe. According to the Korean manufacturer, this is an evolution of its fluidic sculpture design philosophy and features sophisticated details in every design element, reinforcing a premium look.
Moreover, this is the ninth concept model developed by Hyundai Motor Group’s R&D Center in Namyang, Korea. Furthermore, the Hyundai HND-9 Concept features a long bonnet and wheelbase, which means it is a modern interpretation of the elegant image of a classic premium sports coupe. The fluidic character lines stretch from headlamp to trunk showing a voluminous, powerful car body and a striking, while the wide hexagonal-shaped radiator grille underscores the high performance image of the concept.
The concept car has butterfly doors, a dual twin exhaust, uniquely designed head and rear lamps that provide a sleek futuristic look. As expected, the car features the new 3.3-litre turbo GDi petrol engine bolted to an eight-speed auto transmission. The engine is capable to deliver 370 hp and all this power is transmitted to the rear wheels.
