2014 Acura TSX Sport Wagon has starting price of $31,9851

Acura continues to offer a sweet deal for sporting enthusiasts, thanks to the all-new 2014 Acura TSX Sedan and Sport Wagon that boast of comfortable room for five passengers while bearing a compact exterior.

The MY2014 Acura TSX starts with the four-cylinder TSX Sedan (manufacturer's suggested retail price of $30,635), featuring a Sequential SportShift 5-speed automatic transmission and an available Technology Package.

On the other hand, the TSX Special Edition Sedan comes with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a Sequential SportShift 5-speed automatic transmission. It features an ebony interior with red stitching and red instrument illumination.

Topping the TSX sedan lineup is the TSX V-6, which comes with the Technology Package. The TSX Sport Wagon ($31,985 MSRP), meanwhile, is powered by a 4-cylinder engine mated to a Sequential SportShift automatic transmission.

Customers could also avail of the Technology Package for the TSX Sport Wagon. The 2014 Acura TSX – with bold lines and a wide powerful stance – offers standard features like Xenon High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights and a glass moonroof.

The 2.4-liter 4-cylinder models (for both Sedan and Sport Wagon) boasts of standard 17-inch, 5-spoke aluminum wheels. The TSX 3.5-liter V-6 model (sedan only) features split 5-spoke, 18-inch aluminum wheels as standard. The exterior of the TSX Special Edition Sedan dons sport-minded front, side and rear underbody spoilers.

Moving to the inside, the TSX features standard leather seating highlighted by contrasting-color stitching. It is installed with an eight-way power driver's seat with adjustable lumbar support as well as a passenger seat with four-way power adjustment. For customers wanting a compact SUV that features similar fuel efficiency and dynamic performance as that of a sports sedan, Acura is offering the TSX Sport Wagon.

This version of the TSX has 66.2 cubic feet of rear cargo area -- with rear seats folded down – allowing owners to carry larger items fitting their lifestyle. The available Technology Package features an LED backlit full VGA navigation screen, rearview camera, Song By Voice (SBV) user interface, and the ability to download 15-GB of personal music (more than 3,500 songs) to its hard disk drive (HDD).

Buyers of the MY2014 TSX Sedan could choose from either a 201-hp 2.4-liter inline 4-cylinder engine or a 280-hp 3.5-liter V-65 – both mated to a Sequential SportShift 5-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Buyers of the four-cylinder TSX Special Edition Sedan, meanwhile, could avail of a six-speed close-ratio manual transmission, at no extra cost.

The 4-cylinder TSX Special Edition Sedan offers the alternate choice of a 6-speed close-ratio manual transmission as a no-cost option.

Safety
Standard safety equipment on all Acura models includes Vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSA®) with traction control, ABS, dual-stage/multiple-threshold front airbags, front-side airbags, side curtain airbags for all outboard seating positions, front seatbelts with automatic tensioning system and load limiters, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and Daytime Running Lights (DRL).

The 2013 TSX earned the top-level rating of GOOD in the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) moderate overlap frontal barrier crash test, side impact crash test and roof strength test. It was also named a 2013 Top Safety Pick by the IIHS.
