The 2014 Audi A8 Facelift made its debut today and as expected, the flagship sedan showed its new and innovative Matrix LED headlights. In terms of design, do not expect a radical change as you will not get any! The 2014 A8 Facelift comes with more sculptured singleframe grille, engine hood and front bumper and the LED headlights are now standard in all models powered by a V8 engine.
As an option, the headlights featuring the Matrix LED technology are available. For those who don’t know it yet, the Matrix LED headlights use 25 individual light-emitting diodes per unit that can be switched on and off or dimmed individually depending on the situation.
The rear LED lamps were also redesigned and they are flatter now. All the A8 models now feature two rhomboid tailpipes, except the S8, which features four tailpipes. New chrome strips and high-gloss black window frames round out the differentiating design details. There is a choice of twelve colors, including five new ones. Wheels are available in sizes up to 21 inches.
Dimensions remain unchanged and the 2014 A8 has a length of 5.14 meters [16.86 ft], wheelbase of 2.99 meters [9.81 ft], a width of 1.95 meters [6.40 ft] and a height of 1.46 meters [4.79 ft].
The 2014 Audi A8 Facelift will hit the German dealerships in November and will have a starting price of 74,500 euros.
