In order to offer even more for its customers, Audi unveiled the A8 Exclusive Concept. Based on the A8L, the new flagship sedan will go on sale in March 2014 and will be available in a limited edition of just 50 units. Each vehicle will have a special logo on the door sill trims and will feature aniline leather in the color Agatha cognac, sourced from Italian designer furniture maker Poltrona Frau.
The center sections of the front seats feature diamond quilting, while the inlays are made of fine grain olive ash natural silver brown, and its gray-brown shade harmonizes with the granite gray piping, stitching and central pleat of the seats. Same shade granite gray us found on the steering wheel as well as on the door top shoulders and the upper section of the instrument panel, covered in fine Nappa leather.
The headlining is offered in white Alcantara, while the door top shoulders and the upper section of the instrument panel. As we said, the limited edition will only be available on the A8L and this means that each vehicle will be powered by a 6.3-liter W12 engine rated at 500 hp and 463 lb-ft of torque.
Using an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission and linked to the Quattro all-wheel-drive system, the A8L hits 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.4 seconds, while the top speed is electronically limited at 155 mph or 250 km/h.
