The 2014 Lexus IS looks and is actually more expensive than the outgoing model but it comes with several amazing features that are offered as standard. The new 2014 IS250 RWD has a starting price of $36,845, which is $885 more expensive than the former model. The 2014 model gets standard equipment like high-intensity discharge headlights and a new touchscreen audio system standard, which were both offered as options on the old model.
Lexus claims that the new model comes with $1400 as optional equipment, which means that the $885 price increase is actually a $515 drop in price.
IS250 RWD features a six-speed paddle-shifted automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive and is powered by a 2.5-liter V-6 engine with an output of 204hp. The IS250 AWD, which is $2535 more expensive, comes with an electronically controlled all-wheel drive system. The IS350 RWD model that costs $40,360 features a 3.5-liter V-6 engine that delivers 306hp as well as an exclusive eight-speed automatic transmission.
Choosing the IS350 AWD will mean that buyers have to pay $2235 more but then, it downgrades the transmission from eight forward gears to six. There are three options packages: Premium, Luxury, and F Sport. The Premium package, which consists of heated/cooled front seats and LED headlights, costs $610 for the AWD models and $1050 for the RWD models.

There is also a rising crease line which begins at the lower body, passing through the rear wheel arc, and ending at the rear lamp cluster.
