Article by Christian A., on February 9, 2014

Japan is a special country for Mercedes-Benz, as the German manufacturer unveiled several special editions for this country. You may remember the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Performance Studio and the A45 AMG Petronas Green Edition. Today, Mercedes-Benz introduced in Japan a special edition of the facelifted E-Class Coupe.

As expected, the new vehicle will be available only in Japan and will be based on the E250 Coupe. As you can see from the photos, the E250 Coupe Limited comes with an exterior pack consisting of new front and rear spoilers, side skirts and a new set of five-spoke AMG alloy wheels. Inside, the E250 Coupe comes with Nappa leather on the dashboard and seats, which is usually available only on the E550 and the E350 coupes.

Moreover, the interior is offered in red or beige. Furthermore, the interior features a leather-wrapped wood steering wheel, heated seats and a 360 degrees camera system. Mercedes-Benz will only sell 100 units of the E-Class Coupe Limited, 80 of them will be offered in Polar White while only 20 will feature the Fire Opal (red) exterior colour.

Under the hood, there is a 2.0-liter direct-injection four-cylinder turbo engine that delivers 211 hp and 300 Nm of torque. With these numbers, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E250 Coupe Limited hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.1 seconds. Fuel consumption is 5.7 l/100 km, while CO2 emissions are 132 g/km. The 2014 Mercedes-Benz E250 Coupe Limited is priced at 7.12 million yen or 70,000 USD.
