2014 Mitsubishi Shogun SWB Barbarian introduced in the UK

Article by Christian A., on July 9, 2014

Mitsubishi tries to keep the Shogun spirit alive, at least in the United Kingdom, where it unveiled the new Shogun SWB Barbarian. The new SUV can be easily distinguished thanks to the bold front grille that incorporates a short front overhang, an upright windscreen, high flanks, flared wheel arches and rear-mounted spare wheel.

Sitting above the Shogun Warrior, the Shogun Barbarian comes with 20-inch gloss black/silver dual colour Le Mans alloy wheels, L200 Barbarian style leather interior with carbon inserts, DAB digital radio, colour coded spare wheel cover and a new set of alloy pedal kit.

Mitsubishi offers a choice of four colours for the Shogun SWB Barbarian: Black Pearl (pearlescent), Frost White (solid), Eiger Grey (metallic) and Cool Silver (metallic). Pricing starts at 31,999 GBP for the Shogun SWB Barbarian Manual, while the model fitted with an automatic transmission starts at 33,684 GBP.

The 2014 Mitsubishi Shogun SWB Barbarian Commercial Manual starts at 33,449 GBP, while the Shogun SWB Barbarian Commercial Auto has a price of 35,134 GBP. [source: Mitsubishi]
