2014 Subaru Forester beats the Honda CR-V in Consumer Reports SUV review

In the latest Consumer Reports reviews, the Subaru Forester compact sport utility vehicle topped the Honda CR-V and other rivals. The 2014 Subaru Forester, which now ranks as Consumer Reports’ top pick in the compact sport utility vehicle segment, won praise from the non-profit magazine for “space-efficient design, large windows, and big square doors.”

According to Consumer Reports’ Jake Fisher a.k.a. the director of the well-known magazine, the 2014 Forester is perfect if you are looking for a small SUV that is very functional and fuel-efficient. Furthermore, the 2014 Forester can accelerate faster than its rivals and still leads the competitors in fuel economy.

For those who don’t know, earlier this month Fuji Heavy said that it will invest $400 million to boost U.S. capacity by the end of 2016 due to the rising demand for vehicles such as the Forester SUV. Subaru sales increased 17 percent in April 2013, the biggest increase among carmakers based in Asia.
