2014 Toyota Sequoia features new Entune Audio system

Multimedia experience is brought to new level inside a 2014 Toyota Sequoia, thanks to the new Entune Audio. The 2014 Sequoia SR5 grade features the new Entune Audio Plus system while the Limited grade boasts of the Entune Premium Audio.

The 2014 Sequoia Platinum grade, on the other hand, features Entune Premium JBL Audio, which could be availed as an option for the Limited grade. Entune Audio powers one’s smartphone to provide a richer in-vehicle experience while enabling full access to navigation, entertainment and information services.

Entune features mobile apps like Bing, iHeartRadio, MovieTickets.com, OpenTable, Pandora, Yelp, and Facebook Places. The 2014 Toyota Sequoia is underpinned by an exclusive body-on-frame platform that features four-wheel independent suspension which helps provide excelling ride, handling experiences.

The Sequoia could be availed in either 2WD or 4WD. Some Sequoia 4x4 models boasts of E85 Flex Fuel capability. The 2014 Toyota Sequoia is powered by a standard iForce DOHC 5.7-liter V8 mated to a six-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission, providing up to 381 hp of output at 5,600 RPM and 401 lb.-ft. of torque at 3,600 RPM.

The engine features dual independent Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) and an Acoustic Control Induction System (ACIS), both of which ensure ample torque across the engine speed range. The ACIS system shifts the intake tract length in two stages, based on engine RPM and throttle angle.
