Cadillac introduced in January at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show the all-new ATS Coupe, a two-door version of the ATS Sedan that showed an updated design. As a result, Cadillac also updated the ATS Sedan for the 2015MY with the new Cadillac crest, revised front styling but also with tech features such as the DockSport wireless phone charging from Powermat that is included with Cadillac CUE and Text Message Alerts as well as Teen Driver features.
In addition, the American manufacturer offers the OnStar with 4G LTE and built-in Wi-Fi hotspot (3GB/three-month trial) and as standard the EZ Key passive entry. Under the hood, some models of the 2015 Cadillac ATS feature as standard the 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 202 hp (151 kW) and 191 lb-ft (259 Nm).
Moreover, Cadillac offers the 2.0-liter Turbo engine rated at 272 hp (203 kW) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm), which represents a 14 percent increase over 2014 models. The most powerful engine is the 3.6-liter V6 that develops 321 hp (239 kW) and 275 lb-ft (373 Nm) of torque.
All engine are matched with six-speed transmission, including the Hydra-Matic 6L45 automatic with tap-shift control and the Tremec six-speed manual available on the 2.0-liter Turbo engine. The 2015 ATS Sedan comes as standard with 17-inch wheels, while 18-inch wheels are available as an option.
Other features for the 2015MY ATS Sedan are the power tilting and telescoping steering column added to Premium collection, automatic safety belt tightening and lane change alert added to Driver Assist Package, lane keep assist added to Driver Awarness Package.
Two new exterior colours were added too: Crystal White Tricoat and Dark Adriatic Blue Metallic. The interior was revised as well with new color and trim combination, including semi-aniline leather and sueded microfiber-accent interiors.
