Dodge officially revealed that the world’s fastest and most powerful sedan a.k.a. the 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat will be available in the United States with a starting price of $63,995, including the $1,700 gas guzzler tax but excluding the $995 destination charge. Moreover, pricing includes one day of driving at the SRT Driving Experience that was designed for owners on order to maximize their driving skills on the street or on the racetrack.
If you still don’t know, the 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat is powered by a 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat V8 engine that produces 707 hp and 650 lb-ft (881 Nm) of torque. This engine is bolted to a new TorqueFlite 8-speed transmission that pushes the vehicle to a top speed of 204 mph or 328 km/h.
Moreover, the vehicle is able to run the quarter mile in 11.0 seconds and the 0-100-0 mph run in under 13 seconds.
Dodge offers the Charger SRT Hellcat with two key fobs (red and black) that control engine output, the SRT Performance Pages with boost gauge, a new flat-bottomed three-spoke steering wheel finished with Gunmetal accents, Dark Spun aluminum accents, a 7-inch DID with 200 mph speedometer, an aluminum performance hood fitted with a NACA duct and dual air extractors.
In addition, the Charger SRT Hellcat adds Slingshot forged-aluminum wheels with a Matte Black or Brass Monkey/Dark Bronze finish as well as Hellcat fender badges.
