2015 Ford F-150 King Ranch is made to kick out the competition [w/video]

If you are willing to get more from your pickup truck, Ford offers new King Ranch models. As expected, the most noticeable addition is the 2015 Ford F-150 King Ranch, which comes with several styling enhancements for both the exterior and interior. For the 2015MY, the F-150 King Ranch gets new exterior colors such as Caribou, Bronze Fire, Guard and Ruby Red Metallic Clearcoat.

According to the press release, Caribou will be offered as a monotone, while the other colors will have Caribou as an accent color. As a result, all King Ranch vehicles are available as a monotone or two-tone appearance. A new addition for the interior is the premium Mesa Brown leather, available only on King Ranch editions.

So, if you decided to buy an 2015 Ford F-150 King Ranch, you will also get the brand new 2.7-liter EcoBoost turbocharged engine, but if you want more power you should go for the 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8. The 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine is also a solution. The models powered by EcoBoost engines also receive the Active Grille Shutters as standard.

Other features available on the 2015 Ford F-150 are the cameras that provide a 360-degree of the vehicle, the integrated loading ramps, LED headlamps, LED taillights, the smart trailer tow module, remote tailgate, high-wattage power outlets, trailer hitch assist, LED spotlights on sideview mirrors as well as the next-generation tailgate step.

"King Ranch is a legacy. It's one of the best in Texas, if not America," Meinzer said. "These Ford vehicles wear the King Ranch 'Running W' brand because they are proven to be legitimate and authentic, in the heritage of both Ford and the King Ranch." "King Ranch vehicles are made to kick butt, to get in the brush and dunes and mud holes," Meinzer explained. "We tried to present them in the conditions you'd actually see on a ranch."
