After few leaked photos, the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang was officially introduced. The 2015 Mustang represents a next chapter in the life of the iconic pony car and comes with several design features such as a lower, wider stance, the return of the Mustang fastback with a sleeker profile thanks to the more steeply sloped windshield and rear glass, wider rear fenders and track, tri-bar taillamps with sequential turn signals as well as a contemporary execution of the signature front fascia and trapezoidal grille.
Under the hood, we find the four-cylinder 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine rated at more than 305 hp (227 kW) and 406 Nm (300 lb-ft) of torque. A 3.7-liter V6 us also available, delivering 300 hp (223 kW) and 365 Nm (260 lb-ft) of torque.
The 2015 Mustang GT is available with the 5.0-liter V8 engine developing more than 420 hp (313 kW) and 528 Nm (390 lb-ft) of torque. Furthermore, the 2015 Mustang features all-new front and rear suspension system. At the front, there is a new perimeter subframe that helps to stiffen the structure while reducing the mass. The new double-ball-joint front MacPherson strut system also enables the use of larger, more powerful brakes.
At the rear, there is an all-new integral-link independent rear suspension. The geometry, springs, dampers and bushings all have been specifically modified and tuned for this high-performance application.
Several features are available to the 2015 Mustang, such as the Intelligent Access with push-button start to SYNC and MyKey, plus available Track Apps, MyColor gauges and new Shaker Pro audio system.
