2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA gets a price tag of $32,225, GLA 45 AMG costs $49,225

The 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA will start at $34,225 when it will go on sale in September 2014. For this amount you will get the 2015 GLA 250 4Matic powered by a 2.0-liter petrol engine that generates 211 hp and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. With these numbers, the GLA 250 4Matic is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.5 seconds, while top speed is limited at 235 km/h or 146 mph.

A cheaper version, the 2WD GLA250 will start at $32,225 but this model will be available in the first quarter of 2015. For $49,225 you can have the 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG, which is offered with a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine rated at 355 hp and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm).

Using an AMG Speedshift DCT 7-speed sports transmission, this mode accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.9 seconds and offers a top speed of 155 mph or 250 km/h.

As an option, the GLA 45 AMG is available with the Night Package, that brings anodized waistline trim strip, silver chrome radiator grille louvers, high-gloss black front splitter, exterior mirrors, side sill panel insert and rear fascia trim, but also two tailpipes with black rectangular trim.
