2015 Mercedes-Benz S550 4Matic Coupe starts at $119,900 in the US, S63 AMG Coupe costs $160,000

The 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe will be launched this month in the United States and according to the manufacturer the S550 4Matic Coupe will start at $119,900. This model arrives with a 4.7-liter V8 biturbo engine that produces 449 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque.

If you want more, you’d better know that the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG 4Matic Coupe starts at $160,000. This model is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine that generates 577 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque.

The engine is bolted to the AMG Speedshift MCT 7-speed sport transmission, which sends the power via an all-wheel drive system. As a result, it accelerates from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.9 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited at 186 mph or 300 km/h.

The most expensive model will be the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG Coupe, which is priced at $230,900. This model uses a 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine that delivers 621 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque.

Engine is paired with the AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic gearbox, which sends the power to the rear wheels. The S65 AMG Coupe sprints from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.0 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited at 186 mph or 300 km/h.

The price tags do not include the $925 delivery charge. Moreover, Mercedes-Benz offers the optional Driver Assistance Package that adds Distronic Plus with Steering Assist, Pre-Safe Brake, Pre-Safe Plus, Bas Plus with Cross Traffic Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist with Active Blind Spot Protection.
