As we told you yesterday, Nissan unveiled today the 2015 370Z Nismo at ZDATZ, the annual meeting of Nissan, Datsun and Nismo owners and enthusiasts. As you can see from the photos, the 2015 Nissan Nismo 370Z is a clear departure from the 2014MY Nismo 370Z and follows the same color scheme found on the 2014 Nismo GT-R.
The front end is dominated by the new front bumper that features a big air intake and LED Hyper Daytime Running Lights. In addition, the coupe comes with black headlight bezels, Nismo emblem and signature Nismo red stripe accent on the front lip spoiler.
The red stripe continues on the redesigned side sills, on the black-color sideview mirrors and across the lower portion of the redesigned rear fascia. At the rear, we also find a new rear spoiler that was redesigned and downsized.
The exterior design is completed by the 19-inch Nismo super-lightweight forged aluminum-alloy wheels by Rays that were restyled for the 2015MY receiving a new twin-five spoke design as well as a charcoal gray machine-finish. Inside, there are redesigned black and red Recaro seats wrapped in leather and featuring Alcantara accents.
The new seats were xo-developed with Recaro and are available only on the 370Z Nismo. In addition, the interior features red seat trim and stitching with Nismo logo, a steering wheel wrapped in leather and Nismo red tachometer.
New for 2015MY is the 370Z Nismo Tech model, which adds a hard drive-based Nissan Navigation System with 7.0-inch VGA touch-sensitive display, RearView Monitor, Bose Audio System, SiriusXM Satellite Radio (SiriusXM subscription required, sold separately), Streaming Audio via Bluetooth, auto-dimming rearview mirror and HomeLink Universal Transceiver. Under the hood, there is the same 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine that delivers 350 hp and 276 lb-ft of torque.
For the first time on a Z Nismo model Nissan offers two transmission choices, a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission and a refined 7-speed automatic. Nissan will offer the 2015 Nismo 370Z in just four exterior colors: Solid Red, Magnetic Black, Brilliant Silver and Pearl White. The 2015 Nissan Nismo 370Z will go on sale in July 2014.
